BIOGRAPHY

Bart just wrapped an arc on Ryan Murphy’s, “911 Lone Star” for FOX, stars as the lead of Sony’s new film, “Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters” which is currently #1 on their streaming service and just finished shooting “Saint Clare” with Bella Thorne & Ryan Phillippe. He will forever be known and loved by his fans worldwide as “Coach Bolton” in the High School Musical franchise and is making his return to East High this next season in  “High School Musical The Musical The Series” for Disney +

Bart’s first job as an actor was in Francis Ford Coppola’s film, “Mi Famillia” followed by a series regular role on WB’s “Hyperion Bay” and has recurred on several TV series such as  Amazon’s: Gortimer Gibbons, The Client List, JAG, Bird Dog and notable Guest Star  roles including Hawaii Five-0, The Rookie, All American, NCIS, NCIS Los Angeles, Las Vegas, CSI Miami, & Tremors. and films; HELD,  Small Town Crime and  Little Women.

 

Bart added writing and directing to his pursuits with his 35mm short film “The Run”, shot entirely in Mexico & prepping to make the feature length film of the same title.  www.bartjohnson.com/the-run

Bart married actress Robyn Lively in 1999 in Los Angeles. The couple have 3 children (Baylen, Kate and Wyatt) and reside in their home in the Hollywood Hills where Bart is the happiest; coaching his kids soccer teams, screenwriting, playing guitar and singing. Bart lives for film, travel and high adrenaline sports: Ski. Surf. Dirt Bike. Soccer. Boat. Mnt. Bike. Pilot planes.
